L. M. Ericsson Antique Wooden Wall Phone – Kristiana Phone Company

This phone is a Kristiana Phone Company model built by LM Ericsson using LM Ericsson parts. This model usually has a cradle mount handset, but this one has the hanging side mount handset. These side handset models were most commonly found in Australia, imported there due to a shortage of Ericsson phones and parts in WWI.

This example is in very good original condition with very little damage to the wood casing. The crown is loose and has some chipping, and there is a split in the base of the phone (may be a grain split in the wood). The case is in otherwise good condition and still has a lot of the original sheen. The handset is in excellent condition, though there is some fraying in the cord. The internal mechanisms of the phone appear to be intact.
