Northern Electric – Compact Wooden Type 21 Wall Telephone – Hand Crank Magneto

This wall phone is in very good original condition with a mostly unblemished finish on the case and minor staining and corrosion on the metal parts. The receiver is in good condition with a glossy finish. It appears to have been stamped, though the stamping can only be read on one half, where it reads “Patents Applied”. The transmitter is also stamped with Northern Electric branding and patent numbers, though it is hard to read due to how it is mounted. The transmitter is a little loose, which appears to be caused by a missing alignment screw in the back of the case door. The cord for the receiver has some fraying, but no wire is exposed. The magneto cranks and rings the bells as intended, and the phone appears to be intact internally. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
