Connecticut Telephone Co. – Compact Wall Mount Hand Crank Magneto Telephone

This wall phone is in very good original condition, with a slightly worn finish on the case and little tarnishing on the metal parts. The front cover of the case has lost some of the stain, but the rest of the case is unblemished. The bells, switch hook and transmitter have some mild tarnishing, but the stamped “CONNECTICUT” branding on the transmitter can still be read clearly. The transmitter also comes equipped with an undamaged brown Bakelite receiver. The receiver is a stamped Northern Electric 143, and is in good shape with two chips in the element cover. There is a tag on the inside of the phone that shows the date assembled, which appears to read “3-4-1910”. The magneto cranks as intended, however it does not ring the bells. The phone appears to be intact internally. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
