Western Electric Graybar – Interphone Wall Mount Intercom – Metal Transmitter Cup

This Western Electric Graybar intercom is in good original condition with very little surface or age wear, though the switch hook is non functional and may have been modified. This unit has a very unique transmitter, which is metal as opposed to Bakelite, and has a more bell-like shape. The receiver is a stamped Western Electric 179W watchcase receiver which has some scratching and surface wear, but is completely intact. The transfer decal on the front of the unit has some damage, but is still legible. The intercom appears to be intact internally, aside from the switch hook, which appears to have been disconnected/modified. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
