Western Electric – American Telephone Co. – Scissor Mount Candlestick Telephone

This phone is in very good original condition with a nice finish and no signs of corrosion or other damage. The transmitter is an American Telephone Co. 323W in very nice condition, with an undamaged transmitter cup. The back of the transmitter mount is stamped “40P”. There is a rare number card holder on the transmitter, stamped with patent dates for Western Electric. There is some paint chipped off of the switch hook, but the candlestick has no other wear. The mounting arm is stamped “Western Electric” on one side, with the patent dates on the other. The finish on the mount is very nice, with the only blemish being some paint on the wall mount. The arm extends and retracts smoothly as intended. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
