Stromberg Carlson – Early 1900s Candlestick Telephone with Handcrank Bell Box

This phone is in excellent original condition with nearly no wear on the candlestick unit and a nice finish on the magneto/bell box. The bell box is also a Stromberg Carlson, so this is a properly matched set. The latch screw for the candlestick baseplate is stripped so the candlestick unit cannot be opened without repair, but the weight of the candlestick indicates that the mechanisms have not been removed. The magneto has a beautiful Stromberg Carlson branding plate, and the magneto cranks and rings the bells as it should. The bell box does appear to be mechanically intact. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
