Siemens & Halske W48 Vintage Rotary Dial Desk Telephone

This telephone is in good original condition with a nice clean finish and some repairs to the case. The case is very smooth with very few blemishes in the Bakelite, however, a repair was made to the handset cradle. The handset cradle seems to have split and lost one of the posts, however, the piece was epoxied back into place. With some cleaning and touch up it could likely be made nearly unnoticeable. The handset is in nice shape, with an intact spit-cup transmitter cover, and only some minor fading of the Bakelite. The dial spins as intended, and the numbering on the dial plate is clear and bright. The phone appears to be intact internally, and the original wiring diagram is folded inside the phone. This is a vintage item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
