Northern Electric No.5 Uniphone Desk Set w/N400CG Subset Magneto Box

This telephone and subset are in rough original condition with some damage to both units. The subset case has blemishes and chipping throughout the finish, and a large chunk of the back plate missing along the left-hand side. There is also some cracking around the mounting holes of the backplate. The transfer decal which is usually found on the front of the case has either been removed or painted over. The case of the desk set has blemishes from age throughout, as well as some notable damage. The back of the case appears to have been burned next to the opening for the cords. Also, there are some numbers scratched into the Bakelite on the front of the case. The magneto cranks and rings the bells as intended, and both units appear to be intact internally. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
