Northern Electric – Model N1293RA Compact Wall Telephone – WE Headset

This telephone is in good original condition, with no damage and an intact Western Electric headset receiver. This lacquer covering the golden oak of this case has chipped away in some places, which has caused an uneven finish across the front cover. There is discoloration across a large part of the case, though it appears to only have affected the lacquer, as the places where it has chipped away are untarnished. The headset receiver has a Western Electric embossed watchcase receiver connected, which is in good condition overall. The transmitter is a Bulldog unit, with some scratching and wear on the Bakelite. The mounting cup is a stamped Northern Electric cup. The switch hook functions as intended, and the phone appears to be intact internally, including the original wiring diagram insert. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
