Northern Electric – Model C/D 500 Rotary Dial Desk Set Telephone – 1955

This desk set is in good original condition, with only a few signs of wear from use. The case of the phone has been replaced with a newer Northern Telecom case but it is likely this was done while the phone was still in service. The case has some surface wear, and remnants of glue in some places, but no cracks or other damage. The handset is a Northern Electric G3, which has a number card across the back of the handle with the information of various local businesses. The handset has very little surface wear and has much of its original shine. The dial plate has some glue remnants as well, but is overall in good shape, with bright numbering. The finger wheel has a dial card with the area code 418, as well as what appears to be the original phone number. The dial spins and re-centers, and the cradle switch toggles as intended. The phone appear to be intact internally as well. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
