Northern Electric – Model 312 Fiddleback Wall Mount Telephone – Bulldog Transmitter

This phone is in good original condition and is intact overall, but has had some markings scratched into the backplate and writing shelf. The transmitter is Northern Electric Bulldog transmitter, with a stamped Northern Electric mount cup. The transmitter has no damage, and only has minor fading of the Bakelite. The receiver is in very nice condition with no notable wear or damage. The backing plate and shelf have some engravings in them that appear to be the doodles of children (see photos). Aside from that, the finish of the case is very nice. The switch hook functions as intended and the phone appears to be intact internally. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
