Northern Electric – Brass Candlestick Phone – No. 20AL w/Wonderphone Transmitter

This is a No.20AL Candlestick phone from the early 1900s with a rare Wonderphone transmitter. The phone is in very good original condition, with the only wear being some paint chipping and a scratching into the back of the transmitter housing that reads “Sherb Disk” and “+/-“. There is also exposed brass on the shaft from ~100 years of use. The bakelite cup on the Wonderphone transmitter is undamaged, and is extremely hard to find in this kind of condition. The cords are in great condition with no fraying. The base of the phone is stamped with “Northern Electric Company Limited”. This phone is in incredible condition for its age, and would make an excellent conversation piece in any collection.

This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
