Kellogg – Candlestick Telephone Desk Set – Nickel Bakelite – Stamped Receiver

This candlestick phone is in fair original condition, with a clean and consistent finish, but damage across much of the phone. The transmitter mounting cup is stamped with the patent dates, and has significant denting. The swivel mount is crumpled, so much so that the unit no longer swivels at all. The receiver is an interesting 18 sided polygon shape as opposed to just being circular, and is stamped on the element cover. The receiver has a chunk of Bakelite which has cracked off where the cord enters the unit. The phone is in good condition from the switch hook down, with an intact Bakelite stem, and a nice undamaged base. The switch hook functions as intended, and the phone does appear to be intact internally. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
