French Grammont Multi-Line Antique Intercom Telephone – Rotary Dial

This unique French telephone is in very good original condition, with a nice finish and mostly intact components. The finish on the case is very nice, with only some minor blemishes, and some white speckling on the top of the case. The trim along the left-hand side seems to have shifted slightly and does not line up perfectly with the trim from the other sides. The handset is in excellent shape, with very little tarnishing of the metal, and undamaged Bakelite components. The handset is stamped with the Grammont branding, and the number “19962”. The buttons for each line all work as intended, aside from the bottommost line, where the button is missing. The dial wheel has some visible wear and tarnishing, and the dial insert is out of line with the finger wheel, however, the dial spins and re-centers as intended, and has a nice click. The switchhook functions as intended, and the phone appears to be mostly intact internally. This is an antique item and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
