Federal Electric – Antique Hand Crank Magneto Desk Set Telephone

This desk set is in good original condition, with a significant wear of the handset and case, but no damage. Some of the paint on the case has begun to chip away, exposing the metal underneath. The handset shows fading from age, however, there are very few scratches, so the handset could likely be polished to a like-new shine. The top of the phone is stamped with “Federal Electric Mfg. Co. Ltd. Canada”. The switch hook toggles as intended, and the magneto cranks smoothly but does not ring the bells. The phone appears to be intact internally, and includes the original wiring diagram, which indicated the phone is a Model 804A. This is a vintage item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
