Federal Electric Co. Model 804-B Magneto Wall Phone – Metal Case

This telephone is in rough original condition with some damage and a flaking finish. The case is full metal and has no damage aside from the paint which is chipping off of the phone. The handset is in fairly good condition with some surface wear and no other damage, as well as a legible “Federal Electric Manufacturing Co. Ltd.” stamping. The cradle switch is not functioning as intended, as it sticks in both the up and down position. The back plate has significant damage, as it appears it was damaged in an attempt to open the phone. The screw which holds the case in place is also bent significantly, and no longer holds the case tight to the baseplate. The crank spins as intended, and unscrews so the case can be opened, however the magneto does not ring the bells as intended. The inside of the phone appears to be mostly intact mechanically. The case is also stamped with “FEM 804-B”. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
