Elektrisk Bureau Kristiana Type E.B. 24 Rotary Dial Desk Set – Pink

This telephone is a Type E.B. 24 built by Elektrisk Bureau of Norway, also known as Kristiana, the Norwegian partner of the Swedish Ericsson Telephone Company. This phone is in good condition, however it has been repainted in a pastel pink. The phone appears to have been black initially, and it is uncertain if Kristiana ever offered this phone in pink. The case has significant wear, with consistent paint chipping, but no corrosion or damage. The handset, which has also been painted pink, is in rather good condition, with an intact Bakelite handle and receiver cover. The dial spins and re-centers as intended, however the dial plate appears to be out of line, and has been scribbled over with a pen. The switch hook does not lift into place when the handset is removed from the cradle. The phone does appear to be intact internally. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
