Early Western Electric Company Lineman’s Test Set Butt Set – Pin Dialer

This test set is in good original condition with no major blemishes and a functional pin dialer. The dial has some minor scratches and some flaking of the paint, but the dial numbers and letters are still totally legible. The dial spins but does not re-center consistently, and would likely benefit from some lubrication. There is a string wrapped around the handset for a makeshift grip, which appears to have been done while the set was in service, as they are very set in place. The cords show no signs of fraying and the connecting clips are intact. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
