Early French LMT Cradle Telephone – Dual Receiver – Ericsson Handset – Very Rare

This is a very early cradle telephone made in France that pre-dates the Western Electric A1. The phone is in good original condition, with some finish wear and mild corrosion, and functional dial. This example has the rear bracket for a “Mother-in-law” watchcase receiver, however there is no watchcase receiver attached. The dial has a bright dial plate and spins and re-centers as intended with a satisfying “Click”. The handset is not original, instead it has an Ericsson handset, though this swap was likely made while the phone was still in service. There is a plate along the base that is stamped with various patent dates, as well as “Le Materiel Telephonique”. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.

The item is untested and being sold as is.
