Dictograph – HL20/1 Substation – 6 Key – For Parts or Restoration

This substation is in rough original condition and would need significant repair to be brought back to like new condition. The case has significant wear on the finish, but no cracks or other damage. In the picture of the switch plate there appears to be cracks in the case, but they are actually just the seams between the wooden front and side panels. The switch plate is not fastened into the front face correctly, and one of the switches is broken. The handset has significant wear on the finish and some paint chipping by the receiver, but it is intact overall. The cradle is damaged, and it missing a large chunk from one of the arms, and the cradle switch does not return to place when the handset is lifted. Both the handset and the cradle pedestal are clearly stamped with the Dictograph company branding. The phone does appear to be mostly intact internally. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
