DeVeau Telephone Manufacturing Co. – Antique “InterTalk” Wall Intercom Telephone

This unit is in fair original condition, with a damaged transmitter cup, and many paint markings on the finish. The phone appears to have been repainted, but does not appear to be a refurbishment, but rather from maintenance while it was in use. The stamped DeVeau logo near the bottom of the case is difficult to see as paint has somewhat filled the indentation. The polished metal parts have some tarnishing around the edges, and one of the bells has a section of nickel plating that has come off. The receiver is a matching stamped DeVeau and has some wear on the stamped cap, as well as scratching and paint blemished throughout. The switch hook functions as intended and the phone appears to be intact internally. There is also a wiring diagram inside the case, which is dated “11-13-22”. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
