Automatic Electric Type 21 Compact Wall Telephone – Refurbished

This phone is in good condition as it has been refurbished. At some point, it was also modified to accommodate an Automatic Electric Type 41 handset instead of separate receiver and transmitter units. The finish on the unit is smooth, though there are some minor spots of corrosion. The handset is in good shape, with only some minor surface wear, however, the original cloth cord has been replaced with a vinyl-coated cord. The dial spins and re-centers as intended. The phone appears to be intact internally, aside from a cracked bell, however, it is unclear if anything was removed or added during the modifications. This is an antique item, so some age wear is to be expected.
