Audiclare Antique Ear Trumpet – G.P. Pilling & Son Hearing Aid

This antique ear trumpet is in very good original condition, with a nearly perfect finish and intact diaphragm. The bare polished finish is still very bright with much of its original shine, and only some minor surface scratches. The painted horn of the ear trumpet is nearly perfect, with only a small spot where the paint has chipped and exposed the brass underneath. There are some minor dents in the horn. The diaphragm is still intact, though there is a hairline crack through one of the holes. The earpiece is stamped with the “Audiclare” branding as well as the patent dates of June 25th, 1901, and February 22nd, 1898. The ear piece is also stamped “1948” indicating the year of manufacture for this particular trumpet. It is also stamped “G.P. Pilling & Son. Phila.” This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
