Dictograph – 6 Key Wooden Intercom Substation Subset – Graybar Electric Receiver

This substation is in good original condition with a somewhat worn finish, and function keys. The finish is still mostly glossy, but is worn down to bare in some spots, and discolored in others. There is one crack in the case, on the backside where the unit would mount.  The switch plate is in nice condition, and has 6 intact keys that toggle as intended. The transmitter unit is very nice, with its original shine, and detailed engravings. The receiver is a Graybar Electric 179W 2-wire watchcase receiver and is in very good original condition. The switch hook has no corrosion or damage and toggles as intended. The interior of the case has a sticker denoting the patent dates and the circuit reference number, and the internals of the phone appear to be intact. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
